Tree Plantation 12 Aug 2018

Today the world is facing environmental problems. Global warming, ozone depletion and pollution are burning issues. Solution to these problems lies in planting more trees. Keeping the spirit of Go Green alive with the ongoing tree plantation drive all across the country, a tree plantation programme was held at Maitri Park, SubhashNagar, onSunday, 12 Aug 2018.

Asmita Foundation with its member’s planted the trees which would benefit housing societies, medicinal plants like Kadipatta and Bakul were planted in industrial areas, Silver Oak, Bahava and Karanja which will help in beautification of the area were planted. In schools and colleges, saplings of mango, jackfruit were planted while those of Kadam, Banyan and Mahogany were planted along the roads to provide shelter.

Trees and plants are the prime source of environmental purification and beautification. Trees inhale carbon dioxide and exhale oxygen, reduce temperature and create a healthy effect, both physically and psychologically, on human beings. I am really thankful to SRP Care For India Foundtion ( Mrs Sushma Sharma , Mr Talwar and  Mr Sethi) to provide us trees and Mr Neeraj Narang (President Green Paradise Society) for supporting us always….

Let us provide a safe place to live for our children and to our grandchildren.
